Rohingya Crisis Bangladesh

“If Myanmar gives

Us citizenship and Recognises our Rohingya identity We will return”

A message from a Rohingya refugee.

Rohingya has become a big factor in our life. In 2017, when Myanmar brutally kicked out the Rohingya people, Bangladesh showed humanity and pity towards them. They provided them with shelter, food, and clothes. But no one knew that it would become a great crisis. Why am I saying this?

Well, I didn’t want to admit this either but I had to. Because Bangladesh is a small country with a large population and fewer supplies. And with Rohingyas it has become impossible to manage this huge population. Bangladesh is still developing. They are facing problems all the time. When Rohingyas came, these problems became 10 times more. Showing humanity and kindness is good but at first you gotta think how much you can actually make. Our personality and thinking doesn’t match with Rohingyas.

They are different. As they don’t belong in this country they are harming us. Bangladesh has a large population and Rohingyas have more than two childs. Because of that

It’s hard to manage everything. As they are illiterate, they have zero knowledge about everything and they are committing crimes all the time.

As they are illiterate, they have zero knowledge about everything and they are committing crimes all the time. During any conflict or flood rather than saving our people, Bangladesh government is prioritising them. During covid -19, we didn’t have enough supplies or food. Bangladeshi people couldn’t afford anything and couldn’t go out. This was a big challenge for the country. On the other hand, they also had to think about Rohingyas. Also, still now the price of food and products are rising all the time. This has become a great problem in our country. Although we have to think about Rohingyas.

Rohingyas first shelter was in Cox’s Bazar Teknaf. Because of their large population they had to move into Noakhali. That place was meant to be a forest but unfortunately when they arrived, the place became unhygienic and polluted. Which is affecting our nature and environment. Most Rohingyas when they first came were children. Among 80% of them 40% were young kids. Because they were young it became very hard to manage their health and education. Malnutrition, diseases were affecting them. It is hard for Bangladesh to handle this many people. Still now thousands of kids are illiterate. And they are committing crimes at a very young age. As an example: Like Bihari people who live in our country just like Rohingyas. Because of them we had to face a lot of problems. Now, Bangladesh is facing the same crisis as the Rohingyas. Because of them we had to face a lot of problems. Now, Bangladesh is facing the same crisis again.

These problems are creating bigger problems. If we are more careless then this can end our whole society. People of Bangladesh will face a lot of crises in the future. It will become hard to achieve the SDG goals.

So, we should be more careful about this matter. Hopefully everything will become normal if Myanmar gives them citizenship. And they can have their own identity and nationality.
