MENTAL HEALTH

Mental Health is actually something that affects how we think and act. It also includes our emotions, physiological and social wellbeing. Having good and a sound mental health is very important in our life. Because without having good mental health we cannot lead a happy and a peaceful life. Here are some examples of having poor mental health

  1. Anxiety disorders
  2. Depression
  3. Eating disorder
  4. Post traumatic disorder

And many more. There are so many reasons of having a poor mental health. Some remarkable reasons of having poor mental health are – child abuse, genetics, family history, trauma and neglect etc. Now, how to know if someone is having a bad mental health? Here are some symptoms.

  • Eating too much or too little: If your mental health is not in a good condition then you’re eating habit will be a mess. Sometimes you’ll feel like eating everything and sometimes you’ll feel like eating nothing.
  • Having low or no energy: If your mental health is not in a good condition then no matter how much you rest, you’ll feel tired. Because, if your brain doesn’t work well then, your body won’t work surely
  • Feeling hopeless or helpless: If a person feels lonely all the time even in the crowd, then they are having a bad mental health condition. They will feel hopeless all the time.

We all should be aware and take care of our mental health. Because it controls our quality in our life. It impacts our behaviour and emotions. We can improve our mental health by taking these tips: –

  1. Connect with other people: Connecting with other people teaches you many things. It will also make good relationships that are very important to have good mental health.
  2. Be physically active: Research is telling that being physically active not only improves your physical health but also your mental health. It causes chemical changes in our brain which positively change our mood.
  3. Learn new skills: It will boost your confidence and make your better version of yourself.
  4. Give to others: Sacrifice things and opportunities for the sake of others. It will give you an achievement feeling and feeling of self-worth. It is so important for our mental health.
  5. Live in the present: We don’t usually live in the moment. We are either past focused or future focused. That’s a big reason for having bad mental health. We are always stuck in the past or future and that makes our mental health worse.

Remember your peace is more important than anything else in the world. So let go of the millions of things you worry about and focus on yourself, your thoughts, your own mental health, your life is going to be a beautiful one.
