This course provides skills to students in compiling an English teaching syllabus and
planning teaching also evaluating learning outcomes that will be applied. In this
lecture students learn about various theories and approaches to teaching foreign
languages, how to analyze student’s needs., choose the right teaching strategy, and
evaluate the success of language learning. By following this course, students are
expected to be able to understand the concepts, theories, and approaches in
teaching English as a foreign language, select and compile learning outcome
evaluation tools. In addition, students are also able to analyze and find solutions to
problems that may arise in the teaching and learning process of English.
